About Us

Our Story 

 Our story begins in 2021 as newlyweds looking to furnish our very first apartment. With a tight budget, but a love for quality furniture, we did as any young couple would and turned to Facebook Marketplace. We were the perfect match: Naomi, a French critic with a love of design, and Ari, a Brooklyn-born deal-lover. Together, we spent months curating and hunting for the finest pieces at the best prices. We filled our home with vintage art to cherish, a dining table to share meals with family, comfortable sofas to chat on with friends, and bookshelves to house our growing library. With each piece, our New York apartment felt more and more like home. But when our hunt was complete and there was not a square inch left to fill, we decided to take our passion for curating and deal-hunting and start our very own furniture boutique. And so, furnish nyc was born.
